Pediatric Massage

What to Expect

A physician’s approval for massage is required BEFORE your session for any major medical concern.

Initial Session

Consultation and massage - (45-60 minutes)

Follow-up Session

Massage - 30 minutes

As much as I may plan for the "perfect" session, the child has every right to direct how the session plays out. They direct the amount of skin-to-skin contact, pressure, space and length of each session. Permission is obtained for every area we work on. Time not massaging will be utilized on education for the parent.

Children ages 2-13

A parent/legal guardian is required to be present during the entire massage for every visit.

Children 14-17

A parent/legal guardian is required to be present during their child's initial visit. Follow-up sessions a parent may leave the facility (parent, child and therapist must ALL be in agreement)
